1431-2 for the coming of the lord king: on the left side also were seven other maidens, lily-white and in milk-white clothing and shining out with starry bodies. They presented seven royal insignia, read out from a written roll below their feet, and thereupon all those maidens, as it at the same time exulting in their spirits over the prosperous arrival of the lord king, applauding with their hands, and rejoicing with set dances, sang wisely to our king a new song or hymn in London
